Whistler is a golfer’s paradise
with eight spectacular courses nestled throughout the Sea to Sky
corridor. Three of the area’s courses are within a five minute
drive of Whistler village! With comfortable temperatures during the
summer months and a variety of challenging courses, the Whistler
area has become a favourite destination for avid golfers from around
the world. In the town of Whistler lies the impressive line up of the Arnold
Palmer designed Whistler Golf Club, the Robert Trent Jones Jr designed
Chateau Whistler Golf Club and Jack Nicklaus designed Nicklaus North
Golf Course. Snow capped mountains will be your backdrop as you play
and black bears are often seen scurrying across fairways. Full service
clubhouses and sun-soaked patios will greet you at the end of each
round. Pemberton, a 20 minute drive north of Whistler, is home to the Pemberton
Valley Golf & Country Club and the stunning Big Sky Golf & Country
Club that received 4.5 stars out of a possible 5 in Golf Digest Magazine.
The Pemberton area sees long sun-filled days all summer long, perfect
for an afternoon round. South of Whistler in the Squamish area lays the challenging Squamish
Valley Golf & Country Club, the newly built Garibaldi Springs
Golf Resort and the Furry Creek Golf & Country Club, arguably
British Columbia’s most scenic golf course. The course at Furry
