Ruddock’s Ranch Fly-Fishing Trips

Fly-fishing on the private lake at Ruddock’s Ranch is one of our most popular trout fishing trips and we’re pleased to be able to offer such a quality trip for wild fish. Yes, these are wild trout, not a stocked fishery. Packages include fishing and accommodations but if you’d like to include transportation from Vancouver that can be arranged. Prices below are starting prices for packages based on a group of four. Trips Include: Access to Ruddock’s Ranch private trophy lake. Ranch house accommodations for up to 12 people.

Ruddock’s Ranch Fishing Details

Within easy driving distance from Vancouver and located in one of the sometimes forgotten regions of British Columbia Ruddock’s Ranch is one destination perfect for small groups looking for a fun, easy  and private fishing getaway.Here is a bit of information the will be helpful in planning your fishing trip to Ruddock’s Ranch.

Location:  Ruddock’s Ranch is just north of the town of Lytton, about three hours driving time from Vancouver. It is easy driving along well a main highway and well marked roads. We can arrange for transportation services from Vancouver for your group.

Prime Time:  Ice off is in early May, after that fishing is very good until mid July. The summer heat slows down fishing a bit but it picks up again starting in September through until early November.

Sturgeon Fishing from the Ranch:  The ranch is located very nearby where Chromer offers our Upper Fraser River sturgeon trips. After a few days of trout fishing you can then add a day or two of guided sturgeon fishing for the monster white sturgeon of the Fraser making for an awesome fishing combo! Ranch Accommodations

We are pleased to offer private ranch house accommodations at Ruddock’s Ranch. The ranch house accommodates up to 12 people and is equipped with a full kitchen for your use and a large deck with expansive views over the Fraser River canyon.

Once arriving at the ranch you’ll be met by the ranch caretaker who will get you checked in. The lake is about a 15 minute drive from the ranch house. For availability please contact us.
