Trips include guided salmon fishing in Campbell River, a day long Grizzly Bear Safari and waterfront hotel accommodations

Trips Include:  Full-day(s) of guided salmon fishing in Campbell River. Full-day grizzly bear safari. Marina side hotel accommodations based on double occupancy in Campbell River.
Not Included: HST Tax 12%. Fishing licenses. Gratuities. Hotel incidentals. Meals. Ground transportation services can be arranged at an additional charge of $500 CDN per day for your group.

What You’ll Be Doing…

Chromer Sport Fishing has designed these safaris to be totally seamless adventures that allow for flexibility and easy travel planning. Here’s what you’ll be up to on these packages…

The Grizzly Bear Safaris:  Grizzly safaris are day-long adventures that will have you travelling by boat to majestical Bute Inlet, home to hundreds of wild grizzlies. Once in Bute Inlet you’ll visit several viewing platforms and experience these wild creatures in their natural habitat.

Campbell River Salmon Fishing:  Our charter boats leaves from the same marina as the safaris, so that’s one less thing to hassle about. You’ll fish with Campbell River’s top salmon guide and fish will be cleaned and packed for your trip home.

Whale Watching:  If you would like a Campbell River fishing trip with something extra before August when the grizzly bears can be seen then you might want to consider a day of whale watching. Pods of killer whales and other marine life are abundant in the Campbell River area.

Transportation: Getting to Campbell River is an easy journey that will have you taking a ferry from to Vancouver Island and then driving the Island Highway. Including transportation services to your trip can be easily arranged. Transportation services are extra but you’ll be well taken care of by a Chromer Sport Fishing host and you can sit back and enjoy the ride.

Grizzly Bear Safaris

A comfortable 1.5 hour run from Campbell River brings you to majestic Bute Inlet. This is where wild Grizzly bears can be viewed from the boat and from secure viewing towers located on land. Knowledgeable guides talk about bear behavior while the stunning scenery of the Coast Mountains surround you. Tours are approximately seven hours long.

Campbell River Salmon Fishing

While on your Grizzly Bear & Salmon Fishing Adventure you’ll be fishing aboard fully equipped Grady White boats with Campbell River’s top guides. Campbell River enjoys a long sun-soaked fishing season and the protected waters are perfect for all anglers. Included in this package are full days of guided salmon fishing, all equipment and care of catch.

Package Accommodations

Chromer’s Grizzly Bear and Salmon Fishing packages include accommodations at the Coast Hotel in Campbell River. The hotel’s location lends itself well to this trip as it is directly adjacent to the marina in which our charter boats and safari boats are moored. The hotel offers a variety of rooms, full amenities and on-site dining facilities.
