The Fishing
Welcome to cowboy country in British Columbia's interior region.
Located near the town of Merritt, BC and about a 3.5 hour drive from
Vancouver is the little gem that is 305 acre, flyfishing only, Corbett
Lake.
The fishing at Corbett Lake is pretty amazing. This private water
is regularly stocked with 3000 trout ranging from 2.5 to 6 pounds.
There are however almost 300 rainbow trout in the lake at are over
12 pounds. Prime time for flyfishing at Corbett Lake is during early
summer (May and June) and then in the fall (September and October).
This is when the temperatures are a little cooler and the lake's
rainbow trout feed aggressively.
Corbett Lake is one of British Columbia's finest private Stillwater
trout fisheries, accessed exclusively by guests of the Corbett Lake
Country Inn. View
