Your Chromer host will meet you in Vancouver for your journey by ferry to Vancouver Island. Once on the Island you’ll be driven to the town of Campbell River where oceanside accommodations will be waiting your arrival. These flexible packages allow you as many days of salmon fishing and wildlife safaris as you’d like. Just give us a call to start planning.

Our Grizzly Bear & Salmon Fishing Adventures are offered from June through October. The best times for grizzly bear viewing is late August through early October. Salmon fishing is solid all summer long and extends into the fall months. Prime fishing is from June through September.

While on your Grizzly Bear & Salmon Fishing Adventure you’ll be fishing aboard fully equipped Grady White boats with Campbell River’s top guides. Included in this package are full days of guided salmon fishing, all equipment and care of catch.

Grizzly Bear Safari
As Close As You’ll Ever Get
A comfortable 1.5 hour run from Campbell River brings you to majestic Bute Inlet. This is where wild Grizzly bears can be viewed from the boat and from secure viewing towers located on land. Knowledgeable guides talk about bear behavior while the stunning scenery of the Coast Mountains surround you. Tours are approximately seven hours long.

On Campbell River's doorstep lies the beautiful Discovery Passage and Johnstone Strait which are regarded as the top Orca whale viewing destinations in the world.
