Trip Itinerary
A Steelhead Trip Like No Other
We’ll meet you and your group in Smithers, BC where we’ll have our crew cab pickup ready to roll. Your first few days will be on the Bulkley River. Then we’ll head down river to the Skeena and Kispiox Rivers with the chance at hitting a few other smaller rivers in between. Your trip ends in Terrace, BC, where a full service airport makes for easy flight arrangements. A total of six days guided steelhead fishing!

Skeena River Steelhead Tours are offered from mid September to late October. Although this is a small window, this is when steelhead fishing is at its prime. Because of the special nature of these packages space is extremely limited so contact us for exact dates and times before it’s too late.

Fishing the Bulkley River
Juicy Steelhead Water
The amount of fishable, easily waded water on the Bulkley is endless. The Bulkley can best be described a river perfectly created just for steelhead to call home. Steelhead in the Bulkley aren’t always known for their size but the river is known for its ever growing healthy population of fish. Hooking 6 to 8 hard fighting fish in a day is a very real possibility on the Bulkley.
Fishing the Kispiox River
BC's Biggest Steelhead
BC’s biggest steelhead call the Kispiox River home. This is were you’ll have legitimate opportunity at a 20+ pound steelie with a few fish pushing the 30 pound range annually. Although often challenging to conquer, the wild flowing Kispiox is one of the area’s most scenic rivers offering even the most experienced steelhead angler a new challenge.

All ground transportation from Smithers to Terrace, six days of guided steelhead fishing and seven nights accommodations are all included. A Chromer host will be with your group to take care of ground transportation and ensure seamless travel plans. Flights are not included but the travel experts at Chromer will gladly help get your domestic flights arranged.
