Our Commitment to Conservation Fishing

We call British Columbia home and so do millions of wild salmon and steelhead stocks. Being committed to the preservation and conservation of these wild stocks, we feel it is our duty to promote the importance of catch & release and happily represent several operations that are strictly catch & release. We also feel it our duty to help get the word out about the challenges wild fish stocks face and the organizations that are committed to helping preserve them.

Steelhead Society of British Columbia

Their mission is “To conserve and rebuild Pacific salmon populations through strategic and focused efforts where people and resources are mobilized to work together to achieve common goals.” PSF began as a small organization with a clear vision and has now grown into the pre-eminent funding organization for salmon conservation in BC and the Yukon.

Farmed & Dangerous

A site dedicated to informing the public on the hard work of the Coastal Alliance for Aquaculture Reform. This is a group of eight conservation groups, First Nations and scientists from the Pacific Northwest who work to ensure salmon farming in British Columbia is safe for wild salmon, marine ecosystems, coastal communities and human health.
