Bulkley River Steelhead Fishing trips

This is a seven night package that includes six days of guided fishing.  Our new program gives you the chance to fish out of two lodges,  our main lodge on the Bulkley River,  our newly acquired lodge on the upper Morice river,  and our tent camps in both canyons on the Bulkley.  This is the ultimate Bulkley River steelhead package!

Price: $6200 CDN per person

Dates: Late August through early November

Inclusions: Meet and greet at the airport, round trip transportation to and from the lodge, seven (7) nights accommodation, six (6) days of guided fishing in drift boats/rafts and all meals.

Non-Inclusions: Flights to and from Smithers, fishing licenses, gratuities and HST tax 12%.

This is your access to the most remote and untouched steelhead fishing on the Bulkley River.  Our four-day Drift Packages will have you fishing untouched stretches of river and staying at the only two river camps on the entire Bulkley.  We are limited to only eight of these amazing Bulkey River trips per season.

Fly from Vancouver to Smithers where we’ll be waiting at the airport to pick you up. A short drive and you’ll be welcomed at the luxurious newly built lodge. For the next six days you’ll be fishing with top guides using drift boats and jet boats to explore the Bulkley and Morice rivers. Rarely will you fish the same water. This is the only package of its kind that access all stretches of the Bulkley system, from the headwaters on the Morice River to the lower Bulkley River canyon.  Simply put there is a ton of beautiful water to experience.

We book for this lodge not just of the fabulous accommodations and great fishing but also because their crew of guides are our favourites on the Bulkley. You’ll be in good hands as experience the prolific northern British Columbia steelhead fishery.

Days of multiple hook-ups are common on the Bulkley and the river geography lends itself well to all wading abilities. If you want chances at lots of steelhead, wild scenery and an all-around Bulkley River experience, then this is the trip for you!

The lodge is located on a large piece of private land right on the banks of the Bulkley River. Newly built in 2010, this is now the pinnacle of steelhead lodges anywhere in British Columbia.

The main lodge building houses a comfortable lounge, dining room, open kitchen and bar area. Watch the cooks prepare fresh meals, put your feet up in the lounge and enjoy a cocktail or three after a day on the water. The lodge has a capacity of only twelve guests at a time. This ensures an intimate environment and personalized service.

One of our clients favourite features of this lodge is the private rooms. No sharing, everybody gets their own room in six log cabins on the lodge grounds.

While fishing on the Morice River you’ll stay at a boat-access only lodge on the upper Morice. This is a very comfortable wilderness lodge with private cabins located right on the river. This is one of the most remote lodge locations in northern BC!

Drift Camps on the Bulkley River

On our four-day Bulkley River Drift Packages you’ll be staying at our exclusive remote river camps. These camps are located on isolated sections of the Bulkley River and allows for access to water that few people ever fish.

The camps are equipped with very comfortable, heated, canvas, wall-style, tents raised on wooden decks. The camps are located approximately at the midpoint of two spectacular 20 plus mile float trips that you enjoy while on the four-day Drift Package.
